I am an artist and musician and have lived in Pittsboro, North Carolina since 1979. My art interests are pencil drawing and painting, digital art, and photography.
Artist Statement: My work is a spectrum from the truly symmetrical to the abstract and surreal. I need to create both ends of the spectrum for my own personal balance and creativity. The mandala is my attempt at creating the metaphysical energy of wholeness that can be used in meditation or purely decorative. My symmetrical art is the representation of my belief that there is a balance of two sides in all things. The abstract is the letting go of free energy to create the unknown. The surreal is mixing up reality to see other possibilities or dimensions of being.
